Note: For convenience, passport applicants should arrange for Passport delivery and collection to/from the Embassy of Rwanda.
Requirements of a Visa applicant:

- A valid Passport for at least three to six Months
- Application letter specifying type of visa required;
- A recently taken passport size photo (4 cm x 4cm);
- A complete filled application form (see website: www.migration.gov.rw)
- Payment (see payment details) to Embassy's Account below
- Proof must be sent together with the Passport & other documents required
- Indicate the duration of the Visit, Expected arrive date and Departure date
- Contacts for the Host ie; Name, Phone & E-mail Address/Hotel Reservation
- Visa applicant should arrange for Passport Posting to & from the Embassy

Note 1: For convenience, passport applicants should arrange for Passport collection from the Embassy of Rwanda.

Note 2: For Rwandese living in Visa exempt countries, but who possess temporary (none-citizen) foreign passports, we advise them to apply for a Visa as it might be needed by airport officials in most countries prior to boading any flight. Only a valid citizenry passport is recognised by airport migration officials.

Passport issues
GENERAL CONDITIONS TO OBTAIN RWANDAN PASSPORT:

The applicant should have:
1. Application letter specifying type of passport required;
2. A recently taken Coloured passport size photo (4 cm x 4cm);
3. A complete filled application form; (Click here to download the form)
4. Pay 700 Swedish kronor on Embassy's Account bellow:
5. A copy of Rwandese ID
6. A copy of old passport or travel document the applicant used;
7. A copy of the residence permit and identity card;
8. Contacts and e-mail address for future contacts.
