Ruliba Clays ltd is a public limited company which was created in 1984 with its head office located in Kigali, 15 km from the town center on the road Kigali- Butare, near the river Nyabarongo.
Over time, the capacity of the company has tremendously increased. Currently Ruliba Clays occupies the first rank in providing quality clay construction materials, among these Ruliba Clays offers; Roofing tiles, Walling and partitioning blocks, Bricks, Maxpans, Paving blocks, Ventilators, and lately introducing decorative grilles and floor tiles with a variety of other customized products.

RCL back then known Briqueterie Rwandaise Ruliba was officially incorporated in 1985 and domiciled in Rwanda and located about 8 kms (Eight Kilo meters) from the capital (Kigali) on the main highway to the Southern and Western provinces. It stands adjacent to the Nyabarongo river bridge. The company was founded in 1985 as a government enterprise and later on went into the hands of private citizens during the privatization era of the 1990s.

Through our research and innovation, soon we will offer same products in different colors and shades and surface treatment including glazed products.
All this we will do simply to offer a wide spectrum of choice to our customers.

We are creating technology led efficiencies which will further spear head the already known advantages of using Ruliba products of which the most known include; a high aesthetic Appeal, thermal & Acoustic Insulation, Little or Zero Maintenance Cost, High fire Resistance, Flexibility in Application, High compressive strength and Very low water absorption.
